Deep wooden bowl made of the South American tropical rainforest rosewood, Cocobolo. Hand-carved by Costa Rican artisans from the 1990s.
This hardwood has been over harvested for its dual-tones and has been on the endangered species list as of 2016. This particular item has been with the Piquant family since 1992.
We do not recommend purchasing of new Cocobolo products.
