My name is Kate – it’s a pleasure to have you here!

PIQUANT came about when my partner and I moved in together and we had a two-week-long sharing session of our tchotchke collections. Both our families' backgrounds combined span 5 countries and 3 continents and there was so much history to share. This quickly escalated into a desire to share the rich history of pre-loved items with more people and to contribute to achieving a slower production cycle by promoting circularity and quality appreciation.

Growing up, antique stores were our playgrounds and the value of quality over quantity has been the foundation of everything we do. PIQUANT has been no exception.

When I’m not away sourcing or rearranging someone’s apartment, I’m hanging out with my two black cats and my partner at home.
