This wall decor featuring a thin sliver of mirror framed with a thick, heavy antique gold wooden frame is from Turner Manufacturing Company, dated to be very early in the company’s lifespan.

Turner Manufacturing Company was, at one time, the largest producer of affordably priced decorative art and mirrors in the United States. The company’s “wall accessories” all bore a version of this label. Turner closed its business around 1975.

Atomic table lamp in a rare shade of green. The mushroom shade combined with the glass resemble a UFO and often gets its moniker, Flying Saucer lamp. This touch-sensitive lamp is from the 1980s and has three levels of brightness. The brass-plated pieces have patina from age; these can be cleaned by request.

Wine decanters with ice chambers were all the rave in the 1960s through the 1970s in Europe. They were very popular in Italy as well as Spain. Thanks to the travel boom then, many were brought to the US as souvenirs.

These decanters were believed to bring out the best taste in the wine. While wine aerators were not yet invented, the ice chamber does provide the same feature while pouring the bottle into the decanter. Fits a full bottle (750ml) with some room for larger bottles.

This particular item is made in Italy with empoli glass and brought home by the previous owner from Tuscany. The sticker can be re-adhered at request.
