A handmade cloisonné candle snuffer that is beautiful both inside and out. This multicolored candle snuffer has an articulated arm, and holds a truly unique shape. Depicted here are garden pansies in beautiful array of pastel tones highlighted with gold lines.
Cloisonné is an ancient technique, traditionally using gold wires. The metal used here is gold plated copper.

Empoli: Italian glass
Empoli is a region on the the west side of Italy, in the province of Tuscany and has been exporting glass since the 14th century.
For centuries, green glass was a trademark color of Empoli. The Empoli green, known as “Empoli Verde”, was created from the iron that occurred locally in the sands.
A brightly colored and beautifully patterned pear jewelry container from Tuscany, Italy. This truly rare beauty has a fitted lid with an applied glass leaf for a handle. It is in excellent condition and hard to find in this condition.

This female bust bottle is of Queen Marguerita di Sovoia (1851 - 1926) by Galliano L’Autentica, a limited edition bottle from the 1950s.
Galliano is an Italian herbal liqueur company, carrying with it a long history since 1896 and generations of traditions. While their classic yet distinctive bottles are as famous as its contents, their special edition bottles have long been a collectible of their own right.
This figural bust of the famous Italian Queen is from the 1950s, most likely celebrating her 100th birthday in 1951.
